Clinics / Shows 

Here at Fletchers Farm we offer a range of clinics from dressage, showjumping, pole work and simulated cross country. Please note that all clinics must be paid at the time of booking, no refunds available. To book please call on 01206 242210 or pop into the office. We run dressage and show jumping shows from April to September and a winter / Christmas show, see below for details. 

CLINICS 

 
Sally competed at a high level for in excess of twenty years and been training for over fifteen. Sally has produced all her own horses through from complete novices up through the grades. 
 
Sally has a vast wealth of experience including International Trials and Grand Prix’s. Her successes include second in the Young Rider HOYS, Young Rider European Team Member, Hickstead National Foxhunter Champion, BSJA Festival, Blue Chip Final, Qualified for Hickstead International Arena Novice Final. She has jumped International Trials at 1.55m, Grand Prix’s at 1.60m and International Competitions. 
 
The clinics will be semi private lessons for 45 mins held from 09.00hrs on designated Saturdays. Riders to be paired into requested level lessons.

Jonathan Allinson - Jonathan is a qualified professional coach, who trained with Christopher Bartle (Coach to the GB Three Day Event Team) at The Yorkshire Riding Centre.  
 
Brings a wealth of knowledge to his clinics from his experiences in producing young stock through to competing successfully in many equestrian fields; including show jumping. 
 
Dates for 2017: 
Saturday 15th April Cross Country themed lesson - A chance for riders to practice their jumping with Jonathan's expert coaching, over xc style fences in the large arena. The sessions will be run in groups of three riders of similar abilities.

Kristina Adams – BHSAI, Kristina has a long association with the riding school working as an instructor. She has successfully competed in affiliated show jumping as well as cross country. 
 
Dates for 2017: 
Wednesday 12th April - Walking SJ courses and riding lines. 
Ideal for riders that may want to have a go at our very novice jumping show at the end of April. First part of the session will be unmounted as a group, discussing and looking at approaches, lines and distances. Second part will be a group lesson putting these skills into practice. There will be two groups: a novice group with limited experience riding a course and a more advanced group who have already had course jumping experience. 
Time - 10.00 -12.15 (novice) 
- 12.15 - 2.30 (advanced) 
Cost - £30 
 
Weds 31st May - Show Jumping Course Sessions in the outdoor area. Please see calender for more details 

SHOWS 

Entry fee discounts available to clients in the loyalty scheme. 
 
Dressage shows – Here at Fletchers Farm we run dressage shows on the first Saturday of every month from April to September. Classes from walk-trot to Novice. There is an accumulative points championship in two categories running throughout the year - Junior and Senior. Points will be awarded for each dressage class at our shows from April - September 2017.  
 
Championship Prizes  
 
The winner of each category will recieve a £30 voucher from Broomfields Farm Equestrian and Country Store and a private lesson from Emily Bradshaw.  
Runner up will receive a £15 voucher from Broomfields Farm Equestrian and Country Store and a £15 voucher from Fletchers Farm Riding School to be used towards lessons.

Novice Show jumping  
 
These shows run in the holidays. The courses will be a mixture of jump for joy schooling fences and wooden show jumps. Please note these shows are designed to encourage novice and nervous riders.  
Rosettes 1st - 6th place.  
 
No entry will be accepted without the appropriate fee. Pre-Entry only for this show unless you are Fletchers Farm Livery members. There is no lorry/trailer parking available for this Christmas show. 
 
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, vary the order or composition of, or cancel any event in this schedule at any time. 
 
Classes may be split or amalgamated at the organisers' discretion. 
 
All course heights are approximate. 
 
Correct riding dress should be worn and hat with a fixed harness to a minimum standard of PAS 015 must be worn by riders at all times. All serving military personnel must be dressed in uniform when competing. 
 
Judged under BS Rules. The Judges' decision is final. 
 
The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructors or the organiser, officials and stewards. 
 
If this is your first show competing please note that we allow assistance or leading in the classes indicated on the schedule page. Please remember horses can behave differently in the ring to normal lessons or schooling at home and if you would like assistance please ask. Competitors enter classes at their own risk.  
 
Please use designated warm up area only. Do not stand on the track where others are riding and cause an obstruction. Please ride responsibly. 
 
Please do not re-enter the warm up arena once you have finished your jumping round. 
 
No lunging allowed on the show ground. 
 
Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all times. 
 
Photographs of class winners / placed riders may be printed / placed onto various media including the Fletchers Farm Riding School website, Essex Rider, the Fletchers Farm Facebook page. If you do not wish this to happen you must notify us in writing.
